I am a bank Teller, i was graduated as an acountant 6 months back, and i've been told that a Teller is the best to start work in a bank to reach for higher level later on within the banking jobs. and yes i had two jobs offers one to work as acountant in a medium size company and the other one is with the bank which is my current position, well it is with higher salary also :)

Teacher.
I chose this career because it gave me an opportunity to travel and thought I could give back a little and share some of the knowledge I've learned over the years. Also, the work schedule is better for having a family than my previous career in construction.

Sweeper. Choose it because of flexibility, and high pay. I earn up to $40,000 a year. More than what people with college degrees make. :)

I'm currently a Safety Trainer/Coordinator for a university Facilities Management department. I really did not actively look to be in this position and as such, due to circumstances I fell into the job. Still, this has not been bad for me as I have been exposed to opportunities that were not available elsewhere.
To be honest, no one I have worked for has inspired me, yet a former boss provided the opportunities and encouragement to achieve what I have in my current position. Still, I have acquired inspiration from extensive reading leadership and self help books. Because of this I'm trying to make a career change to be a motivational/inspirational speaker.

I am Civil Engineer and Programmer.
Currently I am a Lecturer in the same Engineering Department where I studied.
I chose because I looked my self to be a Design Engineer. I got many offers from design offices with High pay but I prefer to be in Research and Education

I sort of fell into currency exchange. Had a year out from previous job , they went bust and after a year I was bored and restless ( also needed to earn)
Saw a job advertised locally.... thought no more about it as hadn't a clue what was involved. Couldsn't find anything else so applied. Got the job, very steep learning curve!
Not looked bacxk since.
At 43 I still don't know what I'd really like to do... probably write a book?

i started business working with my father in importing and exporting .. as partners. any way choice to work in business as a career was based on the success of my father and i was also looking to work as an independent, i hated the idea of working hours and limited salary, now i might be working longer hours than any normal employee but at the end of day it is my own business, being a business man is a very challenging career which is some thing i like

Journalist.
I always wanted to be a Journalist since I was 11 years old. I finally accomplished that dream of mine and I'm so happy. I chose this career because I am not the type of person to sit in one place, esp behind a desk. I love going out and exploring the world and finding out new things.

It is my dream job.
