Responsibilities:

Oversees the analysis, planning, execution and direction of the project.

Discusses and sets the annual budget of the project.

Reviews the day-to-day project related tasks in coordination with the Operations Manager.

Initiates all the activities of the project in a view of pre-determined target.

To be well aware of all the KOC/KNPC standards and international codes and standards.

To closely monitor the cost of the project and effectively control the same to complete the same within the budget.

Interacts with client as the representative of this company so that day today function of the project to be carried out in a very smooth and effective manner.

To make a complete review of the present status of the engineering and the residual engineering to be carried out in a very short span by coordinating with the engineering consultant and the company discipline engineers as well as vendors.

Handles the recruitment of the necessary staff as and when required.

Supervises on site maintenance activities.

Ensures the proper submission of the required documents to the client review & approval and execution of the project accordingly.

Understands the present status of the procurement and co-ordinate with vendors in order to execute further as well as further procurement activities.

To award various sub contracting works left out for further execution of the same.

Certifies the progressive invoice of construction works.

Co-ordinates for the submission of progressive invoice to the client and get it approved.

Co-ordinates the entire work in order to achieve the target with the assistance of the Project Control Engineer and lead discipline engineers.

Education/Experience Requirements:

Bachelors in Engineering prefer Mechanical.

Minimum 10-15 years of experience in handling large projects in Oil &  Gas field in terms of maintenance of a refinery 

Must have handled a team of minimum 200 employees.

Knowledge in dealing with rotatory and static equipment
